My CV
I graduated in 2003 at the age of 24 in Medicine and Surgery, with full marks and honors, at the University of Florence, discussing a thesis on the Recurrence of preeclampsia and D / D polymorphism of the ACE gene: effects of heparin treatment on cardiocirculatory changes and pregnancy outcome. During my academic studies I was the holder of two Study Awards for University Merit from the Aldo Orselli Foundation.

In the same year of my degree I obtained the qualification to practice the profession, with a vote of 90/90, and in 2008 the specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics, with a vote of 70/70 cum laude, discussing a thesis on the Outcome of Pregnancy in recurrent miscarriage Patients and Medico-Legal Implications on the Choice of Mode of Childbirth.
While studying in the Master of Science, I attended a clinical research period and training expertise on management of gestational diabetes and on Pediatric Endocrinology at the Sansum Diabetes Research Institute in Santa Barbara, CA, USA.
New experiences and educational activities:
From 2004 to 2010, I taught Fundamentals of Gynecology and Obstetrics to Health Care students and wrote a manual.
From 2008 to 2012 I attended the Traditional Acupuncture school of the city of Florence, obtaining the diploma of Acupuncturist with a thesis on: Couple infertility: therapeutic diagnostic integration between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.
Specialization in forensic medicine:
In 2015 I specialized in Forensic Medicine at the University of Pisa discussing a thesis on: ” The experience of Direct Compensation in the Gynecological Obstetrics area of the Careggi University Hospital (FI) (2009-2015)”
I have attended over 100 congresses in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics, presenting over 40 Communications (oral and graphic). I am the author of two textbooks, 5 chapters in textbooks and over 26 scientific publications of which 15 as the primary author.
In the Legal Medical field, I have carried out over 350 documents including plaintiff consultancy, technical consultancy for the Office, consultancy for the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Pisa, Modena and Florence, consultancy for Insurance Companies, consultancy for the Claims Management Committee of the Careggi University Company and second opinion for various hospitals in Piedmont and Lombardy.
